Parents’ Night Out
Oakbrook Youth Ministry is hosting a Parent’s Night Out THIS FRIDAY (March 23) from 6-9 pm.  Drop off your kids (age 0-5th grade) at the Sussex Library for a fun evening, then go out & do something special just for you! Call Colleen Boehm: 262-820-2493 for more information.

Council of Elders
We are seeking candidates for the Council of Elders until March 25.  See the bulletin insert for guidelines and a list of members who are eligible.  Forms are at the Info Table (or contact the Church Office) for members to use in making a nomination.

Congregational Meeting
A special congregational meeting will be held at Gospel Fellowship Church on Saturday, March 31st at 10:00AM.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Family Camping
Oakbrook has campsites on hold for a camp weekend at Timber-lee in East Troy.  To reserve your site, call Lyn at 262-642-7345.  Please mention you are from Oakbrook.  Sites will be held until March 19th so call soon.

Good Friday
Join us for a Good Friday evening service on April 06, 5:00 or 6:30pm.  We will be hosting an abbreviated Seder Dinner at the Pauline Haass Library in Sussex.  More details to follow.

VBS Leaders Needed
Mark your calendars for Vacation Bible School on the evenings of July 23-26.  Men, women & teens are needed to lead and serve in various areas.  Guaranteed to be fun!  Sign up today at church or by contacting the office.

Annual Brewer Game & Tailgate
Mark your calendars for our annual Milwaukee Brewer Baseball outing on Fri., June 1. We’ll tailgate before the 7pm game. Cost is $22. per person.  Sign up to reserve your tickets now!

Church Picnic & Worship
Mark your calendars for our annual church worship and picnic in the park on July 1.  There will be a baptism opportunity for those interested.

Lions Daze Parking Project
We have been asked to help with parking for the Sussex Lions Daze on July 13 & 14.  Fun for the whole family and a bridge to our community.  Sign up for a time slot today.

India Mission Trip
Plans have begun for a fall mission trip to India from August 10 – 21.  Please pray and ask God if this may be the time for your involvement.  Contact Cindy Weston for more information.

Kentucky Mission Trip
Our next trip to Kentucky is being planned for Sept 30 – Oct 7.  We will do home repair/construction with Christian Appalachian Project in eastern Kentucky.  No experience necessary.  Contact Jim Zeirke or Mike Murphy for more information

Sussex Sledding Party – Date Change
4 volunteers are needed to help out on Saturday Feb. 18; 12:30-3:30pm.  Judge a snowman building contest or help out with crafts.  Sledding will be in Village Park.  Call Greg Hahn for details at 414-202-6705.

2nd Annual White Elephant Gift Exchange / Potluck Dinner
Sat, Feb.18 Oakbrook’s Potluck Supper with the exciting white elephant gift exchange will be held at the Sussex Community Center at 5:00pm on Feb.18.  Sign up begins January 29th.  Come for food, gifts, board games, and lots of fun!  Contact Jamie Brzezinski for more information.

Video & Audio Teams
The Video and Audio teams are both looking for additional members who can serve one Sunday per month.  Help create and run the screens during server and adjust the audio to make everything sound great.  Contact Scott Daniel (Audio) or Steve Schmechel (Video) for more information.
