Ignite Youth Ministry aspires to bring students toward spiritual maturity and growth in their relationship with Jesus Christ through pursuing God, connecting with the church, and engaging the world. We believe that students have the power to ignite a blaze of faith in their worlds and we want to empower them to do just that.

Our Sunday mornings are spent in group discussion on a variety of topics.

We believe life change happens best in the context of relationships and community.  Though it may not seem like it, today’s youth are highly relational (if you can pry them away from their iPhones), so we provide opportunities for the students to connect with one another and build relationships through regular thematic activity nights.  One month it may be bowling, the next a game night, and then another may be a group outing to cheer on a fellow student in a tournament.

Let’s face it, Middle School and High School are tough roads to navigate.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place where you can be real and be encouraged?  Come check us out and watch a community of faith ignite the world.

Family Sundays

Family Sundays occur on the LAST Sunday of every month.  It’s an opportunity for our students to join the rest of the congregation in worship.

We take the time to introduce the students to what “big church” is like and we welcome them in so they feel comfortable being in the sanctuary.  Studies show that students who aren’t exposed to corporate worship tend to stop going to church after they graduate from High School because they feel like they don’t belong.  We want them to feel like they DO belong and that the sanctuary is a natural place for them to be.
