Discovery Groups

Discovering faith in Christ happens through a variety of ways such as Mentoring, participation in an informal Forum, or at Special Events such as Christmas Coffee.  An important place it happens is in a Discovery Group.

Special Events are designed to acquaint you with Christ, such as at the Christmas Tea.

Forums are informal gatherings where questions are discussed such as, “Where did God come from?”  “Who is Jesus Christ?”  “How do we know if the Bible is accurate and dependable?”  “Why would a loving God create hell?”  “What is heaven like?”

Mentoring one-on-one is a great way of investigating faith based on your starting point.  Ask the questions you have and find a Biblical solution with a practical application to real life, together with a mentor.

Discovery Small Groups are a great way to meet and get to know other people!  The twelve week course is not only designed for fellowship but also to help you get to know the Bible and understand what the Christian life is all about!  You will discover, change and grow by working through different biblical concepts with the people in your group, benefiting from the Scriptures and each others’ perspectives, experiences and questions.  In the process, you will find yourself developing a unique bond with your group members.  Discovery groups usually meet in homes on a variety of days.  The time and place is generally determined by the group.  New groups are constantly being formed.  Whether you are searching to understand what it means to follow Christ, or you have been growing for many years, you will find your Discovery Group a growing and exciting experience.
