The youth ministry at Oakbrook exists to make Christ relevant in the personal, family, school, social, and spiritual life of the young people.
During the Sunday Worship Time the youth (students grades 6th through 12th) participate in Discovery Activities, are challenged by a Biblical Message, and have opportunities to serve on a Sunday ServiceTeam (SST). The Discovery Activities make use of additional learning resources such as Bible software, Biblical commentaries, Biblical dictionaries and Biblical encyclopedias. The environment is very engaging, informal, inviting, and conducive to learning and exploration.
We make every effort to ensure that our teaching is Right (Biblical) 
and Relevant; we strive to ensure that our leaders are Real and Relational; and we anticipate our young people to be Receptive and Respectful.
